Welcome and thank you for visiting. Since 2007 I've been creating contemporary hand-carved ceramic trompe l'oeil birch tree teapots and sculptures in the tradition of Yixing, China.

WHAT'S GOING ON (updated 1/25/2012)

Next up is The Smithsonian Craft Show this April in Washington, DC. I plan to have plenty of new pieces for the show. Details are on my Shows and Exhibitions page.

Currently on exhibition is the floor sculpture Stranded Cetacean (a.k.a., Birched Whale) at The Arnot Art Museum in Elmira through early February 2012.
