Welcome
and thank you for visiting. Since
2007 I've been
creating
contemporary hand-carved ceramic
trompe l'oeil
birch tree
teapots and sculptures in the tradition of Yixing, China.
WHAT'S
GOING ON (updated 2/11/13)
Up
next is The Smithsonian Craft Show in Washington in April 2013.
I already am looking forward to seeing folks then.
After that is
a solo show at Jason Jacques Gallery in Manhattan opening June 5th.
North Carolina
has been very welcoming to me as a new artist. I'll have a piece
in the North Carolina Museum of Art's auction in June and will participate
in the prestigious invitational retail show at The Mint Museum in
the Fall.
I
have a new web site under construction that will allow for much
easier viewing and will have lots of long-overdue work posted, including
the new charred look of the Fireside series. Look for it
in April.
As always I
appreciate all the kind words you've sent my way.
