Welcome
and thank you for visiting. Since
2004 I
have been creating
hand carved trompe l'oeil ceramic sculptures in the tradition of
ancient Yixing, China.
Use
the navigational bar to the left to enter the site. You can learn
about where these stoneware clay teapots and vessels will be on
exhibition, their inspirations, studio visits, workshops and more.
Currently in
the Gallery you can see examples of hand-carved ceramic art
trompe l'oeil tree sculptures from the new Birch series which
was an award-winning sellout hit at the 2008 Smithsonian Craft Show.
There are plenty
of examples from the original Forest for the Trees weathered
log series in the Gallery as well.
As always, I
love to hear from you.
