 Workshops
are available for large and small groups. Presently workshops have a focus
on wheel throwing and functional work, both of which were intergral to
my growth as a potter and an artist. I offer either Opened
Earth pottery (as featured in Ceramics Monthly and Pottery
Making Illustrated), or wheel-thrown Yixing-style teapot techniques.
Both introduce and explore Chinese wheel throwing methods and include
a PowerPoint presentation and Kung Fu tea ceremony using Yixing teapots.Time
frames and formats (demonstration or participatory hands on) can be modified
to meet the needs of your organization. All workshops are geared toward
interactivity, discussion, education and fun.
